Brockton Place Peace Garden

With the assistance of the Sun City Center Charitable Foundation, Brockton Place residents applied for and received a mini-grant from Hillsborough County to improve their neighborhood. 

Both new and long-standing residents of Brockton Place got involved in the project, which involved creating a beautiful Peace Garden filled with Florida-friendly plants, mulch, topsoil, and soil amendments in what had previously been a common area devoid of landscaping.  

One resident stepped up to pay for a contractor to safely install garden benches, where residents may sit and relax.  The completed Peace Garden is both a source of pride for the Brockton Place residents and provides a safe, serene, and attractive meeting place for its residents.
